The artificial beach of Ostende, created in the early 90s, is located in the westernmost part of the city, allowing the enjoyment of beach activities with fewer crowds.

It is shaped like a shell, and its calm and crystalline waters allow bathing safely. In 2018, it was awarded the Blue Flag for its quality.

It is 1,100 meters long and 50 meters wide, its sand is thick and gray. It has showers, litter bins and toilets, and in the summer season it has a security service.
