The neo-Mudejar style square, inaugurated in 1931 and with a capacity for 25,000 people, is the work of the architects José Espeliú and Muñoz Monasterio. It offers bullfights every Sunday from March to October. Its great moment is lived with the San Isidro Fair, during the month of May. Inside is the Bullfighting Museum, testimony to the stellar moments of the art and history of bullfighting.
