Considered by many to be the best art gallery in the world, it is a must-see. It houses the best international collection of Spanish painting from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Very important works of the Flemish and Venetian schools, German, French and English painting. Extended a few years ago with the incorporation of the Jerónimos Cloister, a reform designed by the architect Rafael Moneo.

Opposite the entrance is the sculpture of Diego Velázquez, a Sevillian painter who lived in the court of Felipe IV and who produced important works, such as Las Meninas, Las hilanderas and several portraits of the royal family, which are now preserved in the museum.
